Our Impact

Our model works. L.E.A.N. Leadership supported leaders and teams through professional development, data analysis, and engagement strategies to improve school performance scores and move up to a full letter grade after years of failure.

📌 With the right support, schools can move from trying to flying.

Capitol High School

From Failing to Flourishing: The Capitol High Story

When Capitol High School partnered with our team, the results were undeniable:

  • A 42-point performance score gain in one year — the highest in the state.

  • A full letter grade jump after years of failure.

This is more than improvement. This is transformation.
And it’s only one example of what happens when leaders lean in with purpose.

DC Public Schools

From Programs to Systemic Change: The DCPS Story

When DC Public Schools partnered with our team, the focus was clear: strengthen teaching quality and expand rigorous opportunities for scholars. The results spoke for themselves:

  • Year-long professional development delivered across all content areas and grade levels.

  • A pioneering partnership with 13 local colleges and universities to launch Reading Across the Contents, a program that continued on campuses for over five years.

  • 6th–12th grade teachers trained in partnership with the College Board to increase rigor prior to AP enrollment.

  • A measurable increase in scholars passing AP exams, with many achieving top scores of 4 and 5.

This work was more than professional development — it was a move toward systemic change that strengthened both instruction and outcomes across DCPS.
